July Virtual Community Collaborative Forum Meeting

Greetings dear CCF partners!
As we move through the summer months, we want to take a moment to thank each of you for your continued partnership, leadership, and commitment to improving health and wellbeing throughout New Mexico.
The strength of the Community Collaborative Forum (CCF) has always been its ability to bring together diverse voices, perspectives, and multi-sectors to address the issues that matter most to our communities. Following our successful May 5th CCF convening, we carefully reviewed participant feedback and heard a clear call for deeper conversations around some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing New Mexico today.
In response, I am excited to invite you to join us for our next statewide Community Collaborative Forum on August 20th, where we will facilitate interactive breakout sessions focused on:
- Social Determinants of Health (SDOH)
- State and Federal Advocacy
- SB3 Behavioral Health Reform and Investment Act Updates
- Universal Childcare and Family Wellbeing
- Emerging Community Priorities and Opportunities for Collaboration
These conversations will provide an opportunity for participants to learn from one another, share promising practices, identify emerging needs, and explore collaborative solutions that can strengthen communities across our state.
We are also working to host a special Public Health Roundtable with candidates running for New Mexico Governor and Lieutenant Governor. Our goal is to create a meaningful dialogue where public health leaders, community partners, and residents can engage directly with future state leadership, ensuring that community voices, priorities, and lived experiences remain centered in conversations that shape New Mexico’s policies for a healthy future—Today.
In the meantime, I encourage you to join the CCF Online Hub, where partners can stay informed, connected, and engaged year-round. The Online Hub offers opportunities to connect by region or locally, share resources, exchange ideas, and explore alignment and collaborative opportunities that serve communities more effectively.
Together, we are building stronger partnerships, advancing health equity, and creating pathways for healthier and more thriving communities throughout New Mexico.
