ECECD invites you to a Health and Wellness Webinar titled “Holistically Supporting High-Needs Children” The session will be presented by Michelle Tregembo, State Ombudsman with the Developmental Disabilities Council, and Sabrina Zarco, Education Administration Specialist at Early Childhood Education and Care Department. The webinar will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 12–1 p.m. via Zoom. Spanish interpretation will be available. No registration is required, and participants may request a certificate of completion following the event.

About this webinar:

This webinar will explore holistic approaches to supporting young children with higher needs, including those who may require developmental or behavioral evaluations. Participants will gain clarity on how to identify when additional support may be necessary and best ways to connect families with appropriate resources. 

In this webinar, participants will:

• Learn practical tools they can use immediately in early childhood and family‑serving settings common behavioral challenges in early childcare settings
• Receive guidance on securing evaluations, navigating school systems, and accessing essential resources
• Learn real‑time strategies for responding effectively to dysregulation in young children
